End of an Era

Yesterday we took down Caden's crib. I can't believe my baby is growing up so fast. We moved the toddler bed out of Ashlyn's room and put it in his. We were way nervous about how he'd do. Our other two didn't do so well when they got out of their cribs. Ashlyn stopped taking naps and had to sleep with someone in her room and have her door open. So, we decided we would just be tough with Caden and keep putting him back in bed and closing his door. Turns out we didn't need to worry. It took him only 30 minutes to fall asleep, which is way better than the other two do now. He only got out of bed twice. It was amazing. We were still stressing how he'd do at night, but he only woke up once scared. Leon went in and held him for a few minutes and he went right back to sleep. He slept until 8:30 this morning. It was AMAZING! I think it might have something to do with the fact that he's four months older than the other two were when we moved them. It was a little sad though. My baby really isn't a baby anymore. Now we just have to get rid of the binkis and potty train him. All in due time.
