Holidays

Okay, I'm a terrible blogger. I can't believe I haven't blogged since Thanksgiving. We had a very busy December and thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas. It was filled with family. Shortly before Christmas Jessica and Erik moved home from Hawaii. Jacen has had a lot of fun playing with his little cousin Maeli. They will enjoy being able to grow up together, even if it's only for a short while. Christmas Eve was spent with Leon's family. We had a great time visiting. On Christmas we got to talk to Josh. The kids loved being able to chat with him. It is hard to believe that he only has one year left until he comes home. New Year's Day was spent with Nicholas and Lisa. They left the next day for Alabama. They will be there for at least 18 months. Ashlyn was so sad. She really misses her cousin Kaylie. Maybe we'll have to take a trip to Disney World with them. That should make everything better. All in all, it was a wonderful holiday season. We loved being able to spend so much time together with family.
