Ashlyn learned that when you throw a ball straight up in the air, it comes straight back down. She was trying to toss a metal ball over the fence, but threw it up and it hit her in the face. Ouch!

How sad. I pulled it up and saw that picture, and I was SOOOO sad for her. What metal ball are you talking about. I can't think why she would be playing with a metal ball. Well sad day. Give her a kiss from Tyler and me. He saw it and was sad for her too.
It was actually one of those Chinese stress reliever balls, so fortunately it was mostly hollow. It was still somewhat heavy though. She was playing outside and was trying to throw it over the fence so our neighbors could see it, but she threw it straight up instead. It looks even cooler now; lots of yellows and blues and greens.
