Random

Wow, I really haven't blogged for a while.  Ashlyn and I have had two belt tests since my last post and are now both orange belts.  Harrison should be ready for his blue belt test in December, and Leon just started karate and should test for yellow in December.  We competed in the Fighting Brothers Karate Tournament a few weeks ago.  Harrison took first in sparring, Ashlyn took first in forms, and I took third in forms.  It was surprisingly a lot of fun.  The karate schedule keeps us very busy, but we are all in much better shape and I get a safe outlet for frustration.  Sometimes after a long day of screaming kids it is so nice to go kick and punch things.  The kids are all doing great in school.  Caden lost two teeth in the last two weeks and was so excited to be growing up.  I have pictures, but of course they are on my phone and I haven't bothered to pull them off yet.  We had a great Halloween and are looking forward to hosting Thanksgiving at our house.  It will be quite an adventure, but it will be fun to have family here.
