Kirstyn was born January 17th at 12:29pm. We went in that morning for a scheduled induction and my plan was to have my doctor break my water and then see if I would go into labor. Well, my doctor gets there and as she's about to break my water, she discovers that Kirstyn is no longer head down. That is the same thing that happened with Jacen. I couldn't believe it. She had been head down for weeks. So, we decided to do a c-section. It definitely wasn't my first choice, but I was ready to have the baby. After I was all prepped and in the OR, the little stinker flipped back and was head down. We decided we'd just do the c-section anyway. While they were in there, they commented that my previous scars were really thin, so it was probably a good thing we had the c-section. It always amazes me how these little ones know what would be best. It was a much easier recovery this time since there was no labor. I was even able to watch the c-section since I had such a nice anesthesiologist who held up a mirror.
She was 7 lb 8 oz and 20 in long. She has a lot of brown hair and is super healthy. She is a great little eater and is already loved so much by her brothers and sister. Even Jacen will tell her he loves her and give her gentle kisses. It is still hard to believe that we have 5 kids, but I wouldn't trade them for the world.

Welcome home Kirstyn!
I'm glad she made it safe and sound and that everything went well. It is crazy to think we're old enough to have five kids...I mean, didn't we JUST get driver's licenses???
Congrats, she's adorable!!
Oh, what a cutie! I love all that cute hair. I'm glad you're all doing well. Congratulations again!
