Here I sit at the eye doctor waiting for him to see my husband. We are here at least every 6 weeks, but usually it is more often. Fortunately things are improving. We are hoping for the best. So, as I sit here, I will recap the week.
We picked up my parents from the airport on Thursday and it was snowing. They had just spent the last month in Hawaii with my sister and her new baby. Talk about shock. The weather has been crazy lately. One day it's almost 80 and the next it's barely above freezing. I guess that's what we get for living in Utah.
Saturday was a busy day. Ashlyn had a soccer game and did great. Then we finally got to go out on a date. It was so nice to have some time to spend with each other. Immediately following our date we headed to Logan to celebrate Nicholas's graduation. That's right, he graduated. He is very glad to be mostly done with school. Then we went to Kimberli's to have her take pictures of Ashlyn and Harrison. They turned out great. I will post some when she finishes editing them.
Mother's Day was wonderful. I got flowers and chocolates, and the kids helped make pancakes for breakfast. We had a great sacrament meeting and Jacen was well behaved through all of church. After church we had Teresa over for dinner and then we went to my parents house for dessert. Josh got to call from Hong Kong. It was great to talk to him. The best present of all was when Jacen laughed just a little before we headed home. It was so cute. I can't believe how quickly my baby is growing up. All in all, it was a good week.
