August

Wow, where did the time go? I can't believe we are already more than half way through August. It is hard to believe that two of my kids go to school in just one short week. Harrison will be in second grade and Ashlyn starts kindergarten. I am rather excited. It will be fun to have just Caden with me for part of the day. I just wish kindergarten was all day. This half day stuff is crazy.

The first week of August my husband and I were able to spend 5 wonderful days with each other while my parents had the kids. It was great. We went to Salt Lake and spent our time at the Anniversary Inn. It was a fantastic way to spend our anniversary. It has now been nine years since we were married. Since we will have a little one for our tenth, we decided to go all out this year. It was such a nice break.

As for my pregnancy, things are going well. I don't even have any joint pain yet. I have to eat all the time, so I am certain I am going to put on some weight, but as long as I eat I feel good. The baby is growing as expected and has a nice strong heart beat. We will find out the sex on the 8th of September. Hopefully the baby cooperates. We have to know ahead of time what it will be since it takes us so long to decide on a name. Here's to a great second trimester.
